Where it began
My journey started long before I knew this profession even existed. Back home in Venezuela, I was studying nutrition and dietetics, which gave me the opportunity to work directly with new mothers and newborns in a maternity hospital. I fell in love with supporting families during this transformative season.
After moving to the United States and starting work as a nanny, I first learned about Newborn Care Specialists during a conversation at the park. Within two weeks, I enrolled in my first certification course.
